Health Secretary blasted for drug access failure
HEALTH Secretary Neil Gray has been furiously condemned for failing to ensure kids with a rare muscle wasting disease have access to a new drug.
About 30 boys with Duchenne muscular dystrophy could have their lives extended by givinostat, which slows progress of the killer disease.
