SEAN EVERITT admits there is still work to be done if Scotland hooker Dylan Richardson is to be an Edinburgh player next term.

The 26-year-old, who has racked up six caps, has two years left on his contract with URC rivals the Sharks.

Edinburgh have yet to offer a new contract to veteran hooker Dave Cherry, who has been linked with a move to England or France.

South African-born Richardson, who can also play in the back row, could be the ideal replacement for his Scotland team-mate.
