Company ‘failed in its duty to protect’ data

OUTSOURCING giant Capita is being sued by more than 600 Scottish victims whose personal information was hacked in a giant cyber attack in March 2023, the Sunday Mail has learned.

The firm was fined £14million by the UK's data watchdog this month after home addresses and passport images began to circulate on the dark web.
