ALL migrants who come to the UK illegally on small boats could be jailed if proposals put before Parliament this week become law.

They would face a 14-year sentence under amendments to the Border Security, Asylum and Immigration Bill. Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp is pushing the Government to toughen up the legislation and provide a deterrent after Labour scrapped the Rwanda deal.
