Strictly legend Rev Coles faces new public vote

REALITY TV star the Rev Richard Coles is “the people’s choice” to become the new Archbishop of Canterbury, according to a poll.

A change.org petition has been launched by his fans, calling on the retired Church of England vicar to become its clerical supremo.

They called him “open, honest, humble with a no-nonsense straightforward approach to tackling and solving problems”.

But the ex-Strictly and I’m A Celebrity contestant has dashed their hopes, saying anyone who takes on that role would face a nightmare.
