Spy drones to protect New York from Jaws

BIG Apple beach lovers are to be protected from four great white sharks lurking just off shore – by military spy drones.
State troopers are piloting the tech at tourist resorts in New York and New Jersey where the deadly predators have been spotted.
The drones are equipped with thermal imaging, laser range-finders and cameras.
It comes after a 15-year-old girl was attacked while surfing off Stone Harbor, NJ, last month. Doctors said Maggie Drozdowski was lucky to escape with only painful lacerations to her calf and left foot.
