PAKISTAN reckon they are on the same path as their 1992 World Cup heroes, who beat England in the final in Melbourne to win the trophy under Imran Khan.
The former skipper and former prime minister has been sending good luck messages to the team, while fellow 1992 winner and current PCB chairman Ramiz Raja paid a visit to the group ahead of the big game at the MCG.
And skipper Babar Azam is hoping the two teams remain forever intertwined as World Cup winners on the same ground, though he is not relying solely on fate to get his team over the line.
