THE MOST commonly borrowed books from Parliament's library give a worrying glimpse into the state of life in Westminster.
The House of Commons library, which can be accessed by MPs and their staff, releases details of which books are the most popular among its members on a regular basis.
Between April 1 and September 30 last year, one of the most popular books was How Parliament Works (9th edition) by Nicholas Besly, who has worked in parliament for more than two decades.
