Speedy way to lose faith in officialdom

THERE are times when I genuinely question the Football authorities!

Apparently, Benjamin Speedy was placed in charge of our play off game at Leyton Orient because he’s one of the top five referees in the EFL.

If that’s the case, then what of the rest? How bad must they be?

In such a high profile match you would expect the “top man” to be on the ball when making decisions!

For me he got so much wrong, not just the first goal.

As early as the fifth minute, Tanto was hauled to the ground by the throat by Edmonds-Green.

Another referee, on another day, could have shown a red but no, Ben didn’t bat an eyelid.
