Public toilets could make a return to town

Public toilets could be reintroduced in Dunblane at some point in a bid to curb “inappropriate” behaviour.

Stirling Council officials are expected to look at options which could lead to facilities being created at Laighhills Park.

At a recent full meeting of the council, Green councillor Alasdair Tollemache, a ward member for Dunblane and Bridge of Allan, asked environment, transport and net zero convener, Labour councillor Jen Preston, how public toilet concerns in Dunblane could be addressed.

He said: "The Laighills park is a greatly valued place in Dunblane for walking, playing at the playpark and use of the skatepark.
