A man was chased, beaten with a stick and robbed in a Clackmannanshire street.

Officers are appealing for information after the incident in the Wardlaw Street area of Coalsnaughton on Wednesday, September 24. It happened around 6.30pm when the 20-year-old man was approached by a group who chased him and struck him with the wooden stick. He did not require hospital treatment but a three-figure sum of cash was taken from him.
