Children in Forth Valley Royal Hospital will receive gifts this Christmas thanks to the fundraising efforts of a prison officer at HMP and YOI Stirling.

For the third successive year, Officer Grant Livingstone has organised toy donations from staff at the prison, family and friends, as well as raising funds by running a half-marathon.

Last week, he handed over an incredible 305 toys to staff on the Children's Ward, beating last year's total of 285.
