Beauty of Stirling is celebrated in movie

A new film release celebrating the landscape around rural Stirling is being hoped to provide a tourism boost.

The North is a film released by Netherlands based film production company, Tuesday Studio, and sees Chris (Bart Harder) and Lluis (Carles Pulido) embark on an epic 300-mile journey along the West Highland Way and Cape Wrath Trail, seeking to reconnect with nature and each other.
The film's scenes include scenic spots across both spots, with spectacular views over Loch Lomond and Conic Hill among those included.
It is hoped the picture will provide a surge in Dutch tourism, with Stirling's scenery and outdoor activities deemed to be a major draw for visitors to the area.
