Zonal Level Inter-School Competitions held at Chenani

The Department of Youth Services & Sports, Zone Chenani, successfully organized Zonal Level Inter-School Competitions in Kabaddi, Badminton, Chess, and Cricket for U-14 and U-17 boys. The event was held under the esteemed patronage of Director Youth Services & Sports, S. Rajinder Singh Tara (JKAS), with the guidance of District Youth Services & Sports Officer Udhampur, Romesh Chander Mishra, and under the overall supervision of Zonal Physical Education Officer (ZPEO) Chenani, Jyoti Rani.

The opening ceremony was graced by the Principal of Govt. HSS Chenani, S. Anchal Singh, who attended as Chief Guest. He interacted with participants and officials, extending his best wishes and applauding their enthusiasm. He also congratulated ZPEO Chenani and her team for their commendable efforts in organizing the event. Encouraging the students, he urged them to participate in sports with true sportsmanship, emphasizing the role of sports in promoting physical and mental fitness, building a healthier society, and steering youth away from social evils like drug abuse.
