DC Ganderbal reviews Muharram arrangements

In view of the upcoming Muharram-ul-Haram, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore today chaired a comprehensive meeting to review and finalize the necessary arrangements for the smooth and peaceful observance of Muharram in the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat; Chief Planning Officer; various district and sectoral officers, heads of line departments and representatives from Shia associations.
On the occasion, a detailed discussion was held regarding the arrangements to be put in place like uninterrupted drinking water and power supply, adequate ration, health facility, sanitation, traffic management, fire wood especially during the auspicious days and other related facilities.
