Woman grateful for kindness of strangers

A WOMAN has shared a huge thank you to the kind strangers who rushed to help her when she was taken to hospital.

Leigh Hoult had been visiting her sister, who lives in Churchtown, over the bank holiday weekend when she fell and broke her hand in several places.

The 57-year-old had been walking her two dogs with her husband on Sunday, May 4, at around 2pm when she lost her footing and fell outside Remedy, on Botanic Road.

Kind strangers rushed to her rescue before an ambulance arrived.

She said: "We had booked to go for Sunday lunch but decided to take our dogs for a walk to the Botanical Gardens beforehand.
