Parents announce plans to honour Bebe's name

Six-year-old Bebe King died alongside Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and Alice da Silva Aguiar, nine, during a knife attack in Southport on July 29 last year.

In the months that have followed, work has been carried out to ensure all three children are remembered for the happiness they brought the people around them.

Now, Lauren and Ben King, parents of Bebe, have launched Bebe's Hive, a community interest company (CIC) with the aim of providing a safe place for children and families to grieve.

It was announced last week how the heart-broken parents, along with Elsie’s Story - launched by Jenni and Dave Stancombe - will be raising money for “a safe place for little hearts to create, connect and heal after loss”.
