The pass percentage this year has surpassed last year's 94.56% by a small margin
This year, 95.03% students have registered a pass in the Class 12 State board examinations in Tamil Nadu, according to the results released by the Directorate of Government Examination (DGE), on Thursday (May 8, 2025). Ariyalur district recorded the highest pass percentage of 98.8, while Erode district stood second with 97.9% pass, as per the data.
Releasing the Class 12 exam results in Chennai, School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi urged students who missed the exam to appear for the upcoming supplementary exam.
