CARMARTHENSHIRE County Council will be markng the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day with a number of events and across the county.
-
To mark the occasion, the Union flag will be flown outside County Hall in Carmarthen, Llanelli Town Hall and Ammanford Town Hall. Additionally, County Hall will be illuminated on the evening of May 8, to honour the anniversary.
Celebrations include a variety of activities such as coffee mornings, parades, picnics in the park, and a concert.
