Gowerton surfer Patrick Langdon-Dark is competing for Great Britain at the 2025 ISA World Games in El Salvador

- STAFF REPORTER

WELSH surfers, Patrick Langdon-Dark and Logan Nicol have been selected to compete for Great Britain at the 2025 ISA World Games (WSG) in El Salvador.

Hailing from Gowerton, Patrick Langdon-Dark represents Langland Board Riders at domestic level. He is joined on the men's team by Channel Coast Surf Club's Logan Nicol, from Cardiff.

Langdon-Dark, 25, and Nicol, 26, have been regular names on surfing's professional circuit in recent years, both competing in Europe's Qualifying Series events.

They are now with the British team in Central America, acclimatising and preparing for the WSG.

The athletes' inclusion highlights the strength of surfing talent being developed here in Wales.

The WSG is set to take place in Surf City, El Salvador from tomorrow to September 14.
