Dragons boss desperate for derby improvements

DRAGONS head coach Filo Tiatia says it’s obvious there are areas that need improving ahead of this week’s Welsh derby against Cardiff.

Tiatia’s side were beaten 49-0 at Glasgow on Saturday evening, with the club now facing the Blue and Blacks at Rodney Parade on Friday.
A week after ending their 18-match losing run in the United Rugby Championship with a draw against the Sharks, Tiatia’s much-changed outfit crashed back down to earth in Scotland as they failed to trouble the scorers on a miserable evening.
“Glasgow outplayed us in different areas of the game,” said Tiatia.
“We didn’t have much possession, and our set-piece didn’t really function.
“We have a short turnaround until next week and there are clear areas that we need to keep improving on.
“That will be the task ahead.
