IN the Swansea Senior League Premier Division Waunarlwydd Galaxy recovered from being a goal down to an early Luke Stein strike to claim all three points at Murton Rovers.

A pair of penalties from Jamie Pritchard put the visitors 2-1 up and then Rovers were reduced to 10 men when Ashley Davies was sent off.

Waunarlwydd used to its numerical advantage to dominate the opening stages of the second half as Cian Jenkins, Brendan Opara Jaydn Fowler made it 5-1 before Rovers grabbed a consolation goal through George Heard in the 64th minute.

Penclawdd and Blaenymaes are among the favourites to take the title and when Maes’s JJ Dahlgren opened the scoring in the first minute it was third time that Penclawdd had gone behind in the last two matches, Just before the halt-time interval Dahlgren combined with Jack Harris to make it 2-0 to the visitors.

An own goal in the 48th minute gave the hosts hope but once the prolific Dahlgren completed his hat-trick in the 75th minute there was no way back for Penclawdd.
