CONOR Coady offered “invaluable” intelligence on Leicester City players to assist Wrexham in securing a draw at the King Power Stadium.

The centre-back was on the bench for the North Wales club on Tuesday evening as they drew 1-1 away at his old club in the Championship.

Wales international midfielder Jordan James, who was linked with Wrexham during the summer transfer window, opened the scoring for the home side in the first half.

However, Wrexham’s club record signing Nathan Broadhead equalised with 13 minutes left on the clock to earn a valuable point against the Foxes, who were relegated from the Premier League in April.

Coady (pictured) did not manage to get on the pitch against Leicester, who he left to join the newly-promoted Red Dragons for £2m last month.

The former England star was expected to be a key part of Phil Parkinson’s team, but was dropped from the starting lineup in mid-September after some shaky defensive performances.
