Unmanned climbing gym opens
Somerset Guardian
|June 26, 2025
Bath’s first dedicated boulder training facility is building a community of climbers in the heart of the city. LUMA Climbing gym opened its doors at the start of May.
-
It says it offers over 12,000 climbing routes on an “adjustable Tension Board 2’ alongside dedicated fingerboards and specialised training area.
It is the first commercial climbing gym to operate as an unmanned business model, allowing members to access the facility between 6am and llpm. It says this offers “unprecedented flexibility for climbers to train on their own schedule”
