An award-winning Somerset comedy theatrical company is staging something a little bit different this festive season.

Frome-based New Old Friends (NOEF) will present Crimes Against Christmas, a hilarious whodunnit, at The Merlin in Frome this month.

A spokesperson said: “The show is a brilliant comedy thriller that sold out previous runs at the Theatre Royal Bath and the Lichfield Garrick.

“Tt has been awarded a galaxy of five-star reviews, was named one of The Telegraph's top 50 Christmas shows, was featured on Radio 4’s Front Row and reached No. 2 in the iTunes fiction charts (in it’s audio version, which is still available).

“The Merlin is thrilled to host its return to live performance this year, in what is the first professional Christmas production at the much-loved venue.”
