Book award project aims to encourage young readers

The Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership has launched a new School Library Book Award for children and young adults.

Library staff across the schools trust have worked together forming panels of students at each school, who have been busy reading and reviewing the six shortlisted titles for this inaugural MNSP School Library Book Award.
Students’ votes will then decide their favourite book from the short-list, with the overall winner of the award to be announced at a ceremony on May 22.
