A MAN who threw a petrol bomb and pointed an imitation firearm at a police officer has been jailed. David Wiatrowski, of Bradford Road, Boston, was sentenced to five years and eight months in prison at Lincoln Crown Court on Friday, October 31.

The 36-year-old claimed to be 'bored of life, feeling depressed' when he decided to make and throw a Molotov cocktail at a police vehicle, then aiming what was only later discovered to be an imitation firearm at a police officer in the early hours of New Year's Day 2025 after reports of a man smashing windows with a hammer at Aldi on Queen Street.
