United hoping for double injury boost after international break

But there are two other players who have now returned to action following injury absences.

Wissa has been out for over two months and is yet to make his Newcastle debut following his £55million move from Brentford due to a knee injury picked up on international duty. A few weeks later, Livramento picked up a knee injury in Newcastle's 2-1 defeat to Arsenal and has been out of action since.

Both players have been back on the grass and are pushing to be in contention in the matches following the international break. The Magpies return to action on November 22 at home to Manchester City in the Premier League.

On Wissa, Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe said heading into the break: "Yoane's working well. He's on the grass, he's building his fitness. I think the knee's feeling good, no problems with that.
