Chris Spence insisted there were 'lots of positives' for Boldon CA to take from Saturday's goalless draw at Newcastle University.

After falling to a narrow home defeat against Park View in their first game under Spence in midweek, Boldon travelled to Essity Park looking to secure the first points of his managerial reign against a Uni side sat in and around them in mid-table in the Northern League’s second tier.
