SUMMER REVAMP GOES ON AT SCUNTHORPE

SCUNTHORPE United have confirmed a trio of new signings in the last week as the club's recruitment drive picks up in speed with pre-season underway.

The Iron have secured the loan signing of Bolton midfielder Dubem Eze for the season, and have also acquired midfielder Oli Ewing and defender Jean Belehouan on free transfers.

Eze, 20, is on the hunt for more experience at a higher level, having not been able to break through into Bolton's first team, spending the majority of his time there on loan.

The former Chelsea, Derby and Norwich youth player never managed a first-team appearance at Bolton after signing for the B Team last summer, but did have a productive spell on loan with Chorley in the National League North.

A shorter spell with Halifax Town followed in the fifth tier, which is where he will return for the Iron, who are building a squad for their return to the National League following promotion last season.
