Rowe insists Scots can get over the line just like Clarke's side

CONFIDENT Kyle Rowe reckons the Scotland rugby squad have the raw ingredients to beat the best in the world.

And the Glasgow Warrior - in line for a recall to face Tonga at Murrayfield on Sunday - thinks his team can learn a vital lesson from Steve Clarke's football squad: how to get momentum back after it has been taken away from you.

That is precisely what Scotland failed to do against Argentina last weekend. They were well on top at 21-0 - but when the Pumas started to fight back they could not respond, and ended up losing 33-24.

Rowe, 27, watched the thrilling 4-2 win over Denmark with the rest of the squad on Tuesday night. And the historic victory helped cheer him and his teammates up after a gloomy couple of days.
