UK tech leaders pan Musk's warning AI will take all jobs

ELON Musk’s bleak prediction “there's not going to be any jobs for anyone” in 30 years has come under heavy fire from some of Britain’s leading Al figures.

Instead of sounding an alarm for mass unemployment, UK experts at London Tech Week argued for transformation and a new focus on control over Al, rather than a surrender to the inevitability of job losses.

Matt Clifford, No 10’s Al leader and author of the Government’s action plan, said: “This isn’t a question about jobs, but about control.”

Refuting the Tesla chief's repeated warnings over the last few years, Mr Clifford added: “If you have an Al that can help your job and other jobs, that’s a really good thing.”
