Bren on for record third clean sweep
BRENDAN RODGERS is bang on course to become Celtic's first triple treble-winning manager by completing another clean sweep in Scotland.
His Bhoys roared into next month's Scottish Cup final against Aberdeen with a thumping 5-0 last-four success over St Johnstone at Hampden yesterday.
With just a point needed to clinch their 55th top-tier title, Rodgers' side is now on the cusp of what would be a ninth domestic treble in their history and his record-breaking third as manager.
The Northern Irishman also pointed out he managed the first leg of a clean sweep completed by Neil Lennon before hightailing it to Leicester back in 2019.
Asked if that offered a personal motivation, he said: "Clearly. Yeah, it does, aye-3.1 it'll be as well!
