Tool spots kids' risk of obesity in later life

Early warning...for kids
A TOOL to measure a child's risk of becoming obese in later life has been created by scientists.
The approach, which assesses a person's genetic risk, works twice as well as any other obesity risk predictor, say academics at the universities of Bristol and Copenhagen.
It is hoped it could lead to targeted support for those at highest risk to prevent them becoming obese in the first place.
