Three dead, 30 injured, as 'suicide drones' strike flats
Scottish Daily Express
|October 27, 2025
RUSSIA must face tougher sanctions after Vladimir Putin’s latest blitz on Kyiv, Ukraine’s President has urged.
More than 100 drones killed at least three people and injured 30, including six children.
Yesterday’s attack of onetime “suicide” drones also destroyed two high-rise apartment blocks.
Volodymyr Zelensky said of EU sanctions and now US penalties on Russian oil that “pressure will help bring about peace” but more were needed to stop the war.
He said the Kremlin launched thousands of strikes, including over 1,300 guided aerial bombs, in the past week alone.
