Super Gran star leaves £650k to charities

THE Scottish actress who starred in the popular children's TV show Super Gran has left a huge donation to charity in her near-£2million will.
Gudrun Ure played the granny who gained superpowers after being struck by a magic ray.
The ITV series ran from 1985 to 1987 and won her legions of fans.
She died aged 98 in May last year.
Probate records have revealed she left an estate valued at £1,874,215 after tax and costs.
The gross value was £2,653,362.
