Jambos challenged by boss McInnes to go the distance in title race

HEARTS head coach Derek McInnes says his side can improve as they go along following their flying start to the Premiership season.

McInnes collected the Glen's manager of the month award after leading the club to league victories over Rangers and Falkirk in a winning run that hit four with their Edinburgh derby triumph last time out.

Last-minute winners against Dundee United, Livingston and Hibernian and a comeback from three goals down to claim a point against Motherwell have helped the Jambos open up a two-point gap over Celtic at the top of the table.
