Shankland speaks out over Critchley axe
LAWRENCE SHANKLAND is adamant he didn't disrespect axed Neil Critchley and reckons Hearts got it wrong by gagging the squad.
The Tynecastle captain, right, set the record straight following an incident at the club’s end-of-season awards.
Hearts’ event last weekend came just one day after Critchley and assistant Mick Garrity had been axed.
Shankland was amongst those asked by media to give comment on the sacking as he entered the ceremony, but, like the rest of the group, maintained a silence.
