FAMILY'S HUGE SUPPORT FOR KING AT COMMONWEALTH SERVICE
Queen leads Prince and Princess of Wales and the royal party into the abbey; below, Commonwealth flags are paraded
SENIOR royals put on a united front yesterday, turning out in force for the first time since Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested.
The King and Queen publicly embraced the Prince and Princess of Wales at the annual Commonwealth Day service, echoing Charles’s message to member nations of strength in togetherness.
They were joined by Princess Anne and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
The royal party had arrived at Westminster Abbey to noisy protests from anti-monarchy group Republic.
Dozens of campaigners held placards reading "Abolish the monarchy", "Not my King" and "Down with the crown".
Some activists displayed signs featuring images of Andrew released in the Epstein files, writing above the photos: "Charles, what did you know?"
Earlier yesterday, the disgraced former duke’s security team were pictured walking his dogs - including two corgis that belonged to his mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Andrew has not been seen in public since he was photographed slouching in the back of a car following his release from custody.
