Refugee jailed for domestic abuse faces deportation

A DISABLED Syrian refugee faces being deported to his homeland while serving a 10-year sentence for a campaign of domestic abuse.
Rawns Khilawi, who walks with a stick as a result of being previously shot, trembled in the dock as he was told his fate by a judge.
The benefits claimant had denied all the charges but he was found guilty by a jury last month.
Yesterday, Khilawi returned to the High Court in Stirling to be sentenced.
