Reeves 'a fraud' for pointing to Brexit

RACHEL Reeves has been branded a "total fraud" for blaming the nation's economic woes on the 2016 Brexit vote.

The Chancellor called the referendum's impact "severe and longlasting", as she signalled tax rises and spending cuts are both possible at November 26's Budget.

But Brexiteers soon hit back, with ex-Business Secretary Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg saying: "Her problems would be far worse without Brexit."
