Well, if that is the case, look no further than a rather clever British start-up, Tiny Wine, which wants to revolutionise how we enjoy a white or red.

Instead of committing to a full bottle, Tiny Wines lets you explore world-class offerings one glass at a time out of the firm's 100ml "tasting tubes" thanks to the very latest fractionalisation technology.

Founded by two friends, industry veteran Harry Crowther and wine enthusiast and entrepreneur Rob Ingram, the former explains that the business was born "from a simple belief: that fine wine should be more accessible, less intimidating, and a lot more fun". The brand's tasting boxes, starting at £30, feature curated selections from iconic producers and rising stars, sourced from around the world.
