Medical chief dismisses Hollywood Mel's cancer cure claims

A CHARITY has seen a rise in patients seeking information about an anti-parasitic drug after Hollywood actor Mel Gibson suggested it could cure cancer.
The star, inset, claimed on a US podcast earlier this year that three of his friends had been cured of stage-four cancer after taking ivermectin and another anti-parasitic drug, fenbendazole.
