Man held over bomb threat on aircraft

A MAJOR security alert was caused after a passenger on board a flight to Scotland allegedly shouted he “had a bomb” and that he wanted to “send a message to Donald Trump”.

The drama happened yesterday morning during a flight bound as the President continued his five-day private tour here.

Others passengers tackled the Asian male, who spoke with a southern English accent and restrained him until police boarded the easyJet plane which had departed earlier from Luton.

The incident prompted the captain of EZY609 to make an emergency landing at Glasgow Airport amid chaos on board.
