Man cleared over Jill Dando murder is accused of raping 14-year-old girl

A MAN cleared of murdering TV presenter Jill Dando has appeared at the Old Bailey accused of raping a 14-year-old girl 38 years ago.
Barry George, 65, is charged with rape and two counts of indecent assault against the child, who cannot be identified, in Hammersmith and Fulham, west London, between September 6 and 12, 1987.
