Louvre reopens days after gem heist

THE Louvre reopened to the public yesterday, just days after it was hit by a daring £76million jewellery heist.
Security guards were on high alert as visitors returned to the museum where four raiders stole France’s “crown jewels” in Paris on Sunday.
The haul included a tiara, necklaces and brooches that belonged to Napoleon’s family.
