Labour MP accuses PM of 'sabotaging Brexit by stealth from day one'

KEIR Starmer has been accused of sabotaging Brexit alongside his deputy David Lammy in a blistering attack by one of his own MPs.

- BY AARON NEWBURY Political Correspondent

Branding the Prime Minister and Mr Lammy “uber remainers”, Labour MP Graham Stringer tore into the pair and claimed they were “sabotaging Brexit by stealth from the day after the referendum”.

In a devastating intervention, Mr Stringer told the Daily Express the “only politically honest way to do what they want is to have another referendum”, saying it would “test their biased views”.

The MP for Blackley and Middleton South warned Sir Keir, who campaigned for and voted Remain, “if people knew what a reversal would mean, there would be a bigger majority to stay out”.

Britain chose to leave the European Union 10 years ago and the Express has been campaigning for government to Give Us A Proper Brexit, allowing the country to leave the ECHR to take back control of our borders.
