LIVINGSTON winger Cristian Montano has urged the newly-promoted club to deal him in for another crack at the Premiership.

Monday's play-off success against Ross County in Dingwall was the Colombian's final match before his contract expired and he is desperate to extend his four-year stay with the Lions.

Montano has been a key figure this season in helping Davie Martindale's side return to the top flight at the first time of asking following last season's relegation.

He said: "I'm not under contract so we'll see what happens after this. I'll speak to the gaffer, see what his plans are. But my mind is Livingston. I've been here four years now so I'm looking forward to more seasons at this club. But the gaffer will decide that."

The 33-year-old is adamant Livingston are a much stronger proposition than the side who suffered relegation 12 months ago and feels they can make an impact among the big boys next season.
