AFTER his beloved Newcastle United blew away Liverpool to win their first home trophy in 70 years this fan doubled down on celebrations, with a marriage proposal.
He got down on one knee as thousands of Geordie fans celebrated at the club's St James' Park on Sunday evening after the 2-1 win in the EFL Carabao Cup Final.
An online video showed a woman exclaim "Shut up!" as her boyfriend called out to her. She added: "Are you serious?" before he asked "Will you marry me?"
