Hatred behind synagogue attack has no place in UK

THE thoughts of the nation are with the bereaved who lost loved ones in the horrific attack on Manchester’s Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue.

Antisemitism is an evil that causes suffering and sorrow, which must be resisted with vigilance.

There have been multiple warnings of a rising tide of this hatred. Now lives have been lost on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish year.
